Although there is a very large parking lot at the end of Grove Street near the trails, signage prohibits parking anywhere without a permit. We recommend instead parking at Azalea Park and enjoying the river walk and covered bridge crossing to reach these trails. Trails are wide, mostly flat and free of rocks and mud. There are some river views as you walk down a former railroad alignment.

The half-mile Riverside Loop provides an additional half-mile excursion providing further river views that you can tag onto your hike should you wish. These trails are also popular with mountain bikers, although we didn't see any on the day we visited. We've also included a link to Trailforks below which maps out all the trails in this area.
