National Forest Adventure Pass

A National Forest Adventure Pass is required at numerous locations in the Angeles, Cleveland, Los Padres and San Bernadino National Forests. Day passes and annual passes are avaiable. If you can display a valid Interagency Annual Pass (aka America the Beautiful National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Pass) then you do not need the adventure pass.
Some locations operate ticket machines where you can buy the Adventure Pass on the spot, but in many locations you must purchase your adventure pass in advance.

Visiting the Cleveland National Forest near San Diego, CA? The most convenient option might be to buy online from Recreation.gov. When we purchased a pass they didn't add on any fees (for once).
