Franconia Ridge

There are many ways to tackle the Appalachian Mountain Club's list of the White Mountain Four Thousand Footers. We have created a plan to hike all 48 peaks as day hikes and thought that others might also be able to take advantage from our planning.

Both the peaks and the preferred routes to reach them are marked on our map and we find the visualization really helps with our trip planning. Often the map looks best on a desktop computer. Peaks we've completed include links to Trailspotting reviews that include trail descriptions, photography and downloadable maps. For routes that we've yet to tackle we've sought out the preferred routes and linked to AllTrails maps for your convenience.

Do you want to track your journey to hiking all these peaks? We recommend setting up an account at Peakery or Peakbagger. Both of these sites will keep a record of your accomplishments and let you know how close you are to completing each of the lists.

The following list is ordered by mileage (not elevation gain or difficulty) and will be refined if we find more optimal routes. All mileages and elevation gains shown include return legs.
